Sea Buckthorn Development Programme: Nepal
The project involves planting three Sea Buckthorn Nurseries in the Mustang region of Nepal, deep in the Himalayas. The project serves to safeguard medicinal plants and the biodiversity of Nepal, providing a sustainable income source for local people by directly addressing poverty faced by local communities.

Eselle Organics is working with Dr. Susanne Von de hide in order to buy Sea Buckthorn oil that is planted, harvested and processed by the local people of Mustang. As we grow so does the income of these people, thus protecting their land and cultural heritage. Development Programme: Transylvania
The Transylvanian project in Romania aims to promote agricultural development and environmental protection in this ancient Saxon region.

The director of this programme Jim Turnbull is working with eselle Organics with the aim to teach the local people how to harvest and process the Sea Buckthorn and other medicinal plants into oil in order to create an income for the local population, helping to protect the land and cultural heritage.
